I developed a new website for Momotaro in collaboration with Chef Gene Kato to create a design that authentically captured the brand's essence. We aimed for a sophisticated yet traditional Japanese aesthetic, selecting a sleek black background complemented by clean lines and subtle minimalist design elements. The typography balanced modern elegance with references to Japanese calligraphy. For an engaging user experience, I focused on smooth transitions and incorporated pops of gold for a refined touch. The menu page featured a dynamic slider with numbered sections to enhance navigation and interactivity. Video and imagery were carefully chosen to immerse visitors in the vibrant yet serene atmosphere of Momotaro. I integrated the SinglePlatform widget to streamline content management and ensure easy updates. The Private Events page was designed to showcase the venue’s versatile spaces, allowing potential clients to envision their events. Additionally, I customized the OpenTable widget to match the brand's color palette, providing a seamless booking experience that aligned with the overall design.
